Vintage Coffee
Are you the type of person who always looks deeper into everything? Books, photographs, coffee or the way a tree’s leaves move forward and backward with the wind. I always take time to think, rethink and overthink. This week the lucky subject was COFFEE. A lot of people are happy with drinking their Nescafe Gold or their Jacobs when they feel the need to ‘wakeup,’ but some things are just better than others.
Let me introduce you to the basics of alternative brewing. You get the Chemex, Clever Drip. V60 and the one and only French Press (Aero press should also be included in this list, but I am not too familiar with it yet). There is a beautiful coffee shop called Vintage this coffee shop is not just unique because of the lovely coffee blends that they provide their customers with, but what makes them so extraordinary beautiful is that they are a non-profit organization.
They have different workshops where they will introduce you to the world of coffee, and you know that the money you pay will be for a good cause. Okay, I have to confess after only one workshop I already believe that I know everything that there is to know about alternative brewing, but I guess that after the fourth time when we tasted the coffee, and I still said the only notes that I taste is chocolate that I still have a long way to go.
People might only think that coffee is simply beans poured into a cup with some hot water and milk, but when you take the time to appreciate coffee, you will find yourself in a completely different world. Surrounded by freshly roasted beans, beautiful notes and love found within a hot brewed cup of coffee.
